Megginch Castle can be found in the heart of Case of Gowrie in Central Perthshire. Despite our beautiful castle and stunning surroundings being difficult to miss, it’s best to ignore your Satnav and follow our instructions:

From Dundee

Follow the A90 and pass Longforgan and Inchture then after a few miles pass the Perthshire caravan centre on your left. Follow the A90 under the flyover (there is a Shell petrol station on the opposite side of the road) and after about 500 metres there is a turning to your left between two old lodge houses. Take this turning and follow the tree-lined drive for about 500 metres then you pass through the main entrance walls to the estate with a cottage on your right. Go straight on (do not turn left) and wind your way around to the front of the castle where we will meet you.

From Perth

Follow the A90 and ignore the turnings to Kinfauns, then Incyra, then Glendoik. But at the next flyover (immediately after the Shell petrol station on your left) come off the dual carriageway then rejoin the A90 as if you were going back to Perth. After about 500 metres there is a turning to your left between two old lodge houses. Take this turning and follow the tree-lined drive for about 500 metres then you pass through the main entrance walls to the estate with a cottage on your right. Go straight on (do not turn left) and wind your way around to the front of the castle where we will meet you.
